Curt easily summed up how to consider the two men running for the presidency in a few minutes. He said that we need to put aside all of this overdone media hype because in the long run, it will not lower taxes or end war overseas. It's about what these men do when the cameras are turned off and and the press isn't present that matters. THAT is what shows judgement.
Behind the camera's and the well decorated stage Barack Obama has had his suspicious relations, listened to outrageous sermons, and worked extensively on his own personal hygiene while voting present in the senate. Congratulations. Meanwhile, senator McCain's bones were broken and he told them I refuse to be released early because that is not proper protocol. But that's overlooked...the fact that John McCain has lived his ENTIRE life for our country gets a pass by the media because well...we're "tired" of hearing about it...he's just another soldier...so what...he's old....he's not cool. Put the media horse shit aside, the INSIGNIFICANT coverage on Sarah Palins wardrobe aside, and think about which candidate you'll feel comfortable about when the cameras are off. Because guess what? After the 2008 president is sworn in, the day by day coverage from the biased press is out the window. Who will you trust to see that your values and your beliefs are instilled in Washington? You have a man who's lived his life serving for anyone but himself, and a man who's lived his life serving for no one BUT himself....
While I'll never EVER cheer for the Boston Red Sox or New England Patriots, this fastball from Curt Schilling is untouchable.

I really expected to read a blog about Curt Schilling and write something nasty to you. However - I definitely agree with your point about Pollywood. At least Schilling had something intellectual to say. I'm SO sick of anyone famous (for whatever reason) promoting their political agendas to the world. When it comes down to it - they aren't touched by the issues that effect the rest of us. And our society is so ignorant, that those stars are swaying voters for the wrong reasons. It's disgusting, but the media love it and focus on the insignificant issues instead of what really matters.
