Break Room: Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner: McCain

We'd all like to take a little break from the long, arduous, grind of this election. The candidates do too...life isn't all about hatin’, spittin’, gettin’ in arguments, or ending words without G’s. Here are the toasts/roasts that Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama delivered at the Alfred E. Smith Dinner in New York. Both are very entertaining at the least. It shows that they are people too. And for being under a microscope for a year, it’s helpful to joke around to ease the tension. It’s all in the hips. (couldn’t waste my Happy Gilmore opening there) So put your mind and judgements aside, sit back and crack open up a can of that crisp, frothy, ice cold: Diet Sprite. Enjoy.
Part 1 of 4.
