Nice to See Your Back

My dad said this when someone got out of the shower and had no shirt on. HARHARHAR. Thats what we do. I had orientation the past couple days for IU, so I have been idle on the blog  machine. Stop your crying Billy, here we go. I just watched Empire Records...Kudos, candy granola bars. Jen, you didn't push it on me enough. But now I finally saw it, and I understand. Thanks Jen. It's a wonderful movie. The main thing that I got from it was that everyone has problems, and we have different ways to deal with them. Hiding it from others and ourselves. Accepting that we have them and that we are who we are. Trying to kill yourself, as an easy exit. It may seem that you are alone, but you aren't. Everyone has problems, different but basically similar. We can choose to flaunt it, disguise it, or end it...but at the end of the day, we realize that it isn't all about ourselves. Even though we might want it to be. Putting others down, to make us feel better. Taking joy in others misfortunes. The world won't forget you. It'll be your turn. So help out someone in a tough spot, because when you are in a similar position, it's nice to get help from someone who understands. In the end, we all have different masks that we wear. Work, relationship, friend, family, stranger. We act differently towards different people. It might be because we are afraid of what they might think, or what they might say. But most likely, they are in the same position you are. So take off your mask and be yourself, for everyone, including you.
