Well, this is my first time doing picks on my own and trying to be entertaining and combine sports and guesses all through words. I am pressed for time, so please forgive me. College tests and presentations get the best of all of us. Onto the picks.
Monday: #4 Pitt travels to Hartford to take on the appointed best in the college world today, the #1 UConn Huskies. Now, Jim Calhoun from UConn is approaching 600 wins, and even without the explosive stealing machine guard Jerome Dyson due to injury, I still believe UConn takes this one at home. 72-68.
Tuesday: #5 Michigan State is going to West Lafayette and taking on the hated (at least by me) #21 Purdue Boilermakers. I'm taking Michigan State, not just because I don't like Purdue, but because well...yeah, because I don't like Purdue. 70-61
Wednesday: Not any good games today, so we'll go to my returning Bulls. Hopefully they have traded for Stoudemire by now. Chicago goes to Milwaukee in battle of sub .500 teams, but the Bulls are all I have right now. SO GET OFF MY BACK! IU can't even make 30% of their free throws. I'm taking the Bulls just because I'm a Chicago fan, who realizes they suck, but still root for them anyways.
Thursday: We've got the Boston Celtics taking on Utah in Salt Lake. I'm going with an upset special here, and taking Utah.
Friday: Couldn't decide which game to choose, so I'll do both. The Mavs are going to Houston and taking on the Rockets. I say Houston explodes on Dirk and the Gang. Rockets 108-92. Hornets take on the Lakers at home. The way LA is playing right now, even without Bynum...I'm taking Kobe and the boys.

Michigan State shows Purdue who is really in control of the conference
I don't agree that Chicago should be rooted for as a team that can contend this year and maybe one of the, what is it only 4?, teams that actually fails to make the NBA playoffs. But they can beat the Bucks, so they will tonight.
I won't pick against the celtics, especially if they are the ones with Stoudemire on their roster
I'm going just to spite you.. and because I have made love for my boys Dirk and CP.. respect.
Saturday: Utah over Nawlins.
Sunday: Wake over Duke. Nova over Cuse. Boston over Suns.
