Vampire Weekend scored on my Music Marshmallow blog the number one album of 2008. They were my favorite band of 2008, with their fantastic never aging debut album, Vampire Weekend quickly found their way into my favorite music lists. Live on Jimmy Fallon, which I have yet to watch a show of his, I thought it might be a full hour of laughing at himself. Vampire Weekend is saying they are hopefully coming out with a sophomore album in the fall sometime. I hope they don't end up like CYHSY or Islands and come out with a poor second album, that would just hurt me. It would hurt. "White Sky" sounds similar to their great first album sound that I hope they keep, at least for a little bit. Enjoy, or cringe in ear pain.
