Going with another great comedian with the last name Martin, here is a sketch from Demetri Martin's Comedy Central Show "Important Things". The first few episodes were not filled with quality humor like Demetri's standup usually is full of. But I'm glad to see the show gaining steam. Hey, Seinfeld wasn't great at first either. Not that I am comparing this sketch comedy show to the greatest show of all-time in Seinfeld, nor am I comparing Demetri to Steve in who is the best comedian with the last name Martin. Demetri simply hasn't had the exposure until this year. I sure hope he doesn't get too popular (a la Dane Cook) and become unfunny and just irritating to listen to. He has very good material, and tells jokes complete with guitar and harmonica accompaniment, provided by himself. He also draws. Graphs and pictures, to fully illustrate his comedy, which is very funny. Enjoy this clip from "Important Things". Good night to all my Cerebrum followers.
