Barack Obama: Power Grab

So it continues. The government's relentless power grab. The Obama administration is thinking about asking congress to give unprecedented powers to initiate a seizure of non-bank financial companies. Here is the LINK. Now, with the AIG debacle, it basically shows that if the government doesn't like someone, they will punish them. Why would they take away the bonuses? That is economic stimulus money paid directly to the PEOPLE of America. To people who work. That money is part of their salary. That would've had a bigger stimulating effect on the economy than what the other genius plans have done. And if congress didn't want these bonuses to be in effect, why didn't they do something about them in the previous stimulus bill that mentioned them. They could have stopped the bonuses, but because they didn't READ the bill and voted yes, they are in this situation. Now, this "power grab idea" will probably pass, because it is a blindly followed democrat Obama love-fest. That was made certain when NO ONE read the 1 bagillion dollar "stimulus" bill and voted for it anyways. I say bagillion, because money is being printed off like America is playing Monopoly. 11 Trillion Dollars in debt? Who cares, it's only debt to communist China and so on. How much money has the Obama Administration spent and what results has it yielded? Absolutely none. I guess we'll have to wait, and have faith, which I have none of. The economy will start to get better around 2012. I had a speaker come in for one of my Political Science classes who actually called out Obama and the convenience of the withdrawal of the troops in Iraq. The troops, which are scheduled to be withdrawn are to do so right before our 2012 election. A little convenient he said. Well, now that more power is going to the government, "The Fairness Doctrine" should be going into effect. You aren't allowed to listen to Rush Limbaugh. You aren't allowed to listen to Hannity. Or Glenn Beck. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm glad that people are finally figuring out what and who they voted for. "Candidate Obama and President Obama are two totally different people." That is a quote from the same Political Science speaker I had who was once an Ambassador to Iraq, and has made appearances on CNN. I'm glad someone finally can see what is going on. Open your eyes. Obama's ratings are falling.
