Stories from the IMAX: Mary Jane

While I was on my break at IMAX, the same day Al Harrington paid a visit, I went outside to get away from it all. Not to get away from Mr. Harrington, just to escape from the mental grind of having to put on my fake smiling personality mask for everyone. Tom Petty was having a concert that same night, not too far from where I work, and you could hear perfectly what songs he was playing. All those people having a great time at his concert, while I was outside in a crappy parking lot. But we both could enjoy a little bit of Tom Petty and his music in different contexts. The two songs I heard, were Free Fallin', and Mary Jane's Last Dance. Easily, the most popular 2 of his songs, and I heard them. I was going to post a video of Tom Petty actually playing, when this caught my attention. How dignified, that a man can do this. Take his time to learn this song. To play with his feet when he has nothing else. People are scared of what they don't understand. Which brings me to this. Mary Jane. People who usually exclusively smoke, it has seemed to me, don't drink. And when they tell you that they don't drink, they do it with a smug look on their face, like they are better than you. Just because you only smoke instead of doing both, doesn't make you any better than the rest of us. So do both, and stop being a pussy. Party on readers, all 3 of them.
